As promised, the demonstration by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) took place on Monday.
Spearheaded by the party's presidential flag bearer Atiku Abubakar, the protest is captured in a video uploaded on social media.
Alongside the Labour Party and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), PDP is contesting the results of the presidential and National Assembly elections as announced by INEC.
Wearing an all-black outfit with a navy blue baseball cap, Atiku strides to the INEC building swamped by security and other party members.
Uploading a picture of the moment on his Twitter page, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) commended Atiku in what he called the fight for electoral justice.

#Electionfraud Good to see @atiku @OfficialPDPNig fight for electoral justice, everyone must engage in civil disobedience to extinguish the monumental injustice perpetrated by @inecnigeria, except that for us revolutionaries we don’t get the privilege to have DSS and police… https://t.co/MII2PwOwHv pic.twitter.com/aJq2pcGHMc
