2023 Elections: Jigawa Governor-Elect Namadi Appreciates God For Victory

The Jigawa State Governor-elect, Umar Namadi, has appreciated God for his victory in the just-concluded governorship election in the state.

Namadi also appreciated the people of the state for their resilience and prayers which served him victory in the polls.

He made this known after he was declared the winner of the election under the All Progressives Congress (APC). 

He explained that his election victory came not because he was better than anyone by the will of God who gives power to anyone He wishes. 

This was made available in a statement on Monday by Habibu Nuhu Kila, spokesperson to governor Badaru Abubakar. 

According to Kila, the governor-elect called on the people of the state to remain prayerful and committed in the way of developing the state.

He added that he would continue with the legacies of the Jigawa state governor, Badaru Abubakar. 

Governor Abubakar also rejoiced with the governor-elect and the people of the state, adding that he was fulfilled in bringing a successor he has confidence in.

He described Namadi as a loyal, hardworking and prudent person.
