Big Brother Naija's (BBNaija) housemate Pere Egbi has called for the cancellation of Nigeria and suggested that the British should come back and re-colonize the country.
He said this while calling out the Nigerian electoral system and government, describing it as a ‘joke’ and ‘disgusting’.
Pere also expressed his frustration with the level of corruption in Nigeria, attributing it to poverty’s stronghold on its people.
“Cancel the entire Nigeria! The British should come back and re-colonize.
"I think we got freed and let go too damn early. Joke of a nation.

“Corruption ravaging the entire country because of poverty’s stronghold on its people. Disgusting,” he tweeted.
In another tweet, the reality TV star criticized the system’s inability to conduct free and fair elections, pointing out the need for an overhaul of the voting system and electoral process.
According to Pere, conducting a presidential election in just 5 hours is madness, especially when countries like the United States and Australia have a voting period of 2 weeks.
He called on Nigerians to pressure their leaders to take action and improve the electoral process to ensure free and fair elections.
“Elections in Nigeria is a joke. You want free and fair elections in Nigeria, pressure your leaders to overhaul the voting system and the electoral process.
“Conducting a presidential election in 5 hours??? That’s madness.
"Countries like America, Australia etc have 2 weeks of it!”
