2023 Elections: Portable Celebrates Tinubu’s Win [Video]

Nigerian street artist Portable has expressed his support for the newly elected president, Tinubu, in a special freestyle after the just-concluded presidential election.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, was announced as the president-elect by the Independent National Electoral Commission on March 1, 2023.

Taking to his Instagram page, Portable expressed his excitement and enthusiasm for the victory of the APC candidate.

The musician was seen driving around Lagos in his new Range Rover, recording himself as he cheered and saluted the newly elected president.

The electoral commission, INEC, declared Bola Tinubu, the candidate of Nigeria’s ruling party, APC, as the winner of Saturday’s presidential election in the early hours of Wednesday in Abuja.

The former Lagos State governor defeated 17 other candidates who took part in the election.

He scored a total of 8,794,726 votes, the highest of all the candidates, thus meeting the first constitutional requirement to be declared the winner.

He also scored over 25 per cent of the votes cast in 30 states, more than the 24 states constitutionally required.
