Following his recent victory at the polls, President-elect Bola Tinubu is set to meet his fellow contestants in the just-concluded election.
The development was revealed by Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde.
According to Akeredolu, Tinubu has set up a committee to reconcile with other presidential candidates who contested last Saturday’s election.
He disclosed that the President-elect will meet with his co-contestants "in a bid to assuage their loss in the just concluded Presidential Election".
“The President-elect has set up committees to meet with the gentlemen who contested in the election for us to start the healing process.
“I belong to one of the committees. We are going to meet them and appeal to them so that we can work together”, the statement reads partly.
