Nigeria's senior Basketball team, the D'Tigers, returned to winning ways in the second round of the 2023 FIBA World Cup qualifiers by beating Guinea 89-76.

D'Tigers lost against Côte d’Ivoire 78 – 66 on Friday in the first game of the window 4 of the qualifiers.

Nigeria won the first quarter 23-15, the second quarter ended 20-20.

The quarter ended in favour of the D'Tigers 21-15, while they also established their dominance in the match by winning the fourth by 10-6.

The D'Tigers will be back in action in the qualifiers on Sunday against Angola.

The Angolans defeated Cape Verde 65-58 to earn their second win of window 4 of the qualifiers.
