2023 Hajj: Bauchi Pilgrims Commend Governor For Homely Accommodation

2023 Hajj: Bauchi Pilgrims Commend Governor For Homely Accom

The Bauchi State Muslim pilgrims currently in Medina as part of their visit for the 2023 Hajj exercise have commended Governor Bala Mohammed for providing them with homely accommodation.

The pilgrims said the governor deserves accolades for uplifting the accommodation standard for them.

Some of the members of the Bauchi State Pilgrims Welfare Board, gave their commendations in an interview with the state's television service, BATV, on Wednesday.

They applauded the governor's efforts in ensuring that the welfare and wellbeing of pilgrims were properly met.

While speaking, Malam Hussaini Abubakar, the Danjikan Bauchi, stressed the need for the pilgrims to ensure full compliance with the Hajj rites in order for it to be accepted as an act of worship.

He noted that the conduct of the Bauchi pilgrims in the holy land was satisfactory.

Hussaini further revealed that the Governor had personally communicated on the phone with the custodian of the accommodation to ensure that all the required facilities needed were put in place for the benefit of the pilgrims.

Also speaking, Alaramma Zakariya'u Yusuf, commended the governor for the successes recorded so far in the exercise.

Meanwhile, Imam Isah Duguri, explained that only few other states were able to secure the Diyar Al-Huda Hotel accommodation, which is situated close to the Prophet's Holy Mosque, in Medina.

Recall that the governor had last week flagged off the airlift of 3,347 Muslim pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2023 Hajj exercise.

Addressing the pilgrims, he urged them to be worthy ambassadors of the state while in the Holy Land.
