2023 Hajj: Osun Pilgrims To Depart Medina To Mecca On Monday

A total of one thousand, eight hundred and twenty-seven Osun State indigenes performing this year's Hajj are set to depart Madinah Munawara to Makkah Mukarama in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This is as part of the activities to commence the main HAJJ exercise of 1444 AH.

This was made known by the Administrative Secretary of Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Bolaji Sanni.

Sanni further disclosed that a total of four hundred and twenty nine first batch of the Osun State pilgrims from various states will be departing Madinah tomorrow morning to Makkah where they are to also commence the main Hajj exercise of 1444AH.

He confirmed that all the pilgrims would be transported in beautiful buses that will comprise 206 male and 223 female Pilgrims.

He also expressed heartfelt gratitude and appreciation on behalf of all the pilgrims to the Osun Governor, Ademola Adeleke for making this year's Hajj exercise the best of its kind because of the enormous moral and official support of the government.

He reaffirmed the pledge and resolve of all the contingent to be good ambassadors of Osun state in the holy lands of Makkah and Madinah during and after this year spiritual journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
