Nigerian activist Deji Adeyanju has alleged that the Labour Party flag bearer candidate Peter Obi gave money to party delegates in the states he visited in his presidential campaign.
Adeyanju who spoke via his official Twitter page disclosed that his party delegates in Kogi State informed him that Obi gave them the sum of N3.8 million after their stakeholders' meeting.
According to him, the former Anambra State Governor was mocked openly because the money he gave was deemed too small.
"Peter Obi shared money to party delegates in every state he visited to campaign in Nigeria when he was contesting under PDP.
"Upon realizing Atiku and Wike were going to outspend him and he won’t get up to 8 votes, he left and started screaming “We no dey give Shi Shi.
"My state delegates -Kogi told me he gave them N3.8m to share after their stakeholders meeting and they openly mocked him that the money was too small", Adeyanju penned.
