Muhammadu Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari has said he is not interested in who will succeed him, come 2023.
Buhari stated this in an exclusive interview with Channels Television’s Maupe Ogun and Seun Okinbaloye, which aired on Wednesday evening.
When asked by the Channels Television correspondents on who comes to his mind as his successor at the 2023 Presidential election, Buhari said," It is not my problem."
Not satisfied with his response, Maupe Ogun asked if he would not be interested in who succeeds him, Buhari said "No, let him come, whoever it is.
"All important things, I make sure they are on record. Nobody should come and ask me to give evidence in any court, otherwise whoever it is, he will be in trouble."
Seun Okinbaloye interfered by asking if he has no favorite for 2023 in his party and Buhari responded, saying he would not mention any name.
