Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) says "restructuring in Nigeria won’t happen" because "the All Progressives Congress (APC) will impose a Fulani".
AllNews reports that Kanu also predicted that Abubakar Atiku, the 'sure' People's Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer in the 2023 Nigeria general election "won’t win".
Self-exiled Kanu was reacting to a February 2020 publication of The Vanguard where Alhaji Shetima Yerima, the National President, Arewa Youth Consultative Forum said the North won’t accept Igbo and Yoruba candidates from the two main political parties in Nigeria.
As well, the controversial political activist reiterated his group's stance of a 'peaceful dissolution through referendum'.
He aired his view via his known Twitter handle on Wednesday.
If you’re counting on Restructuring or 2023 Igbo Presidency to avert the IMPLOSION of Nigeria, hear this: It’s impossible because APC will impose a Fulani, PDP is for Atiku & he won’t win, so restructuring won’t happen.
