The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Oyo State on Tuesday commenced the display of names of all registered voters captured in the just-suspended Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
The exercise according to the electoral umpire is aimed at giving the registered voters the opportunity ahead of the 2023 general elections, to make claims and objections before the final voters’ register would be produced.
This is according to a release made available to journalists by the Oyo INEC Administrative Secretary, Biodun Onikate-Amosu in Ibadan.
Onikate-Amosu implored voters, whose biodata were wrongly taken during the just-suspended CVR, to visit the 33 local government offices of INEC in the state, where they registered for necessary corrections.
