2023: Peter Obi Gets Rousing Welcome At Redeemed Convention

Many worshippers at the Holy Ghost Service of the 70th convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God were overjoyed to see the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in their midst on Friday.

The former governor unexpectedly made it to the fifth day of the programme at the RCCG international headquarters along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and it was a momentous occasion for those present.

The programme themed 'Perfect Jubilee' started on Monday, August 8, and will come to a close on Sunday, August 14, 2022.

Obi was introduced alongside other prominent individuals in attendance, including the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Francis Wale-Oke, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, and the wife of Ogun State Governor, Bamidele Abiodun.

Just last month the LP presidential flag bearer graced a broadcast service at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja led by Pastor Paul Enenche.
