Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has asserted that Southern politicians would find it hard to grab power in Nigeria because some Northern caucus "have made it clear that they will keep the Presidency forever", AllNews reports.
Kanu, the self-exiled leader of the outlawed group declared this on his known Twitter handle on Saturday, although AllNews cannot independently verify his claim as at the time of publishing this report.
According to him, "even if you somehow get it, you will be caged."
It’s clear that Southern politicians are prepared to sell their souls for the 2023 Presidency. But guess what? It won’t happen because the #Fulani have made it clear that they will keep the Presidency FOREVER. Even if you somehow get it, you will be caged. You will be powerless.

Kanu, 53, wants a dissolved Nigeria and doesn't believe the emergence of any South-Southerner or South-Easterner as the West African country's number one citizen in 2023 will solve Nigeria's woes.
He is against the wish of some politicians of Igbo extraction who feel they are next to govern Nigeria.
AllNews understands that there some among Ndigbo who believe Dave Umahi, the Governor of Ebonyi State is eyeing Nigeria's top seat.
While the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are willing to welcome him to the party from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), IPOB supporters are lambasting Umahi.
Like their leader, they believe he is "selling his soul".
