2023: Stop Apologising For Misbehaviour Of Supporters — Charly Boy To Peter Obi

Controversial singer and actor Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has advised Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi to stop apologising for the misbehaviour of his supporters.

Obi's supporters who refer to themselves as 'Obidents' are mostly in the news for the wrong reasons and the veteran artiste says they are "unknown".

Advising the former Anambra State Governor on Twitter on Wednesday, Charly Boy called Peter Obi a gentle man who "has no time for bullshit".

According to Charly Boy, Obi's true supporters are better behaved than those backing the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

"Dear Peter, I know you’re a gentle man and really have no time for bullshit. Those dat are your supporters are better behaved than APC or PDP supporters.

"Stop apologizing for the misbehaviours of those unknown supporters, who could just be ur haters trying to be starting a beef", Charly Boy wrote.
