2023: Why G5 Governors Should Not Undermined — Kwankwaso

2023: Why G5 Governors Should Not Undermined — Kwankwaso

The presidential flag bearer of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso has cautioned those undermining the ability of the five aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), also known as G5.

The G5 Governors consist of Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Samuel Ortom of Benue, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu.

Speaking during the inauguration of the Mgbuitanwo internal roads in the Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Kwankwaso said that the governors are good people who would continue to do the right thing.

He said the G5 Governors would be judged by posterity based on their performances.

The G5 Governors

“Many people have made many mistakes. They don’t understand. They are rigid in the sense that whether they are failing or winning, they will stick to one idea.

“We have seen people in my former party that whatever they want is the ticket. They are ready to do anything to have a ticket", Kwankwaso stated.

On the 2023 general elections, he stated noted that Rivers State, like Kano and Lagos, is instrumental in winning any election.

“Certainly, Lagos is not theirs. One begins to wonder where they will get their votes to win the election.

“We have seen people struggling and probably regretting going around to talk to many leaders to beg them to intervene, either here or there.

“Let me say to those leaders. Please, at this critical time, respect yourselves. Do the right thing.”
