2023: Wike Promises To Replicate Rivers Achievement If Elected President

PDP Presidential hopeful and Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has promised to replicate the feat he has achieved in his state for the country if he becomes Nigeria's president in 2023.

Per a NAN report, Wike made the pledge on Saturday in Jos while addressing delegates poised to decide the fate of PDP aspirants ahead of the general elections in 2023.

The governor states that the remarkable development he brought to Rivers State was obvious for all to see and added that if given the presidential ticket, he would win the election for his party.

"The reason I am here is to let you know that I have offered myself to run for the office of the President of Nigeria on the platform of the PDP.

"I have remained in this party since 1998 and I have not gone anywhere. I know PDP more than anyone today. If I get the ticket, I will win the election for PDP.

"You know those who have capacity; see what I have done in Rivers. I will replicate that in Nigeria and do even more", he stated.
