At least 22 people have been injured after a shallow earthquake struck southwestern China on Sunday.
The Yunnan Seismological Bureau claimed that 22 people were injured in the quake, but no reports of damage of houses have been reported.
According to Xinhua, a news agency, 60 search and rescue team was dispatched to the area.
China has regularly been hit by earthquakes with one recorded last September, where three people were killed and over a dozen injured in Sichuan province. In that incident, thousands of homes were damaged.
Another earthquake in Sichuan killed more than 80,000 people in 2008.
