Tragedy struck on Sunday as at least 25 people lost their lives due to shelling at a market on the outskirts of Donetsk, a city in Russian-occupied Ukraine.

The suburb of Tekstilshchik faced the brunt of the attack, leaving an additional 20 people, including two children, injured.

Simultaneously, chaos unfolded at Russia's Ust-Luga port, where a chemical transport terminal experienced a fire following two explosions.

Reports suggested that Ukrainian drones attacked the port, leading to the explosion of a gas tank.

The incident occurred at a facility operated by Novatek, Russia's second-largest natural gas producer, located 165 kilometers southwest of St. Petersburg.

While no casualties were reported, the Kingisepp district, where the port is situated, was placed on high alert.
