27 Deaths Recorded In Japanese Building Fire

Scores have died after a commercial building caught fire in Japan. 27 people were declared dead while a total of 28 others were injured.

The fire broke out on Friday in an eight-story building that houses a shopping and entertainment center.

It was gathered that a man started the fire when he brought a bag into the building that leaked flammable liquid which ignited the fire. The man was believed to be a patient in one of the clinics located in the commercial building.

In 2019, a fire occurred in an animation studio in the city of Kyoto, Japan where more than 30 people died while several others were injured.
