39 Percent Of U.S. Citizens Say Netflix Has Best Original Co

A recent Wall Street survey has revealed that thirty-nine percent of Americans think Netflix has the best original streaming content.

Since the arrival of the popular streaming platform, the lives of many movie fans in the United States have been altered forever. What started out as a little start-up has grown into an entertainment behemoth, changing the way many viewers watch entertainment content.

Per a Variety report, Netflix's ramping up production of its original content has turned out to be a huge success for the streaming giant as 39 percent of U.S. citizens think it has the best original programming compared to its competitors.

The different streaming platforms

The survey reveals that Netflix holds the number one spot when it comes to original streaming content, followed by Amazon Prime with 12 percent. Disney +Hulu, and HBO Max come next with 6-7 percent.

Netflix reportedly spent $17.3 billion on original content in 2020, with plans to spend even more this year. That could only mean that they are capitalizing on the advantage they have and want to continue being a reference point when it comes to original content for as long as possible.

Despite other streaming platforms adding to their variety of content every day, Netflix's place at the top remains presently unshaken; something the company knows could change at any time, hence their determination to up their game while giving their many subscribers more reasons to stay.
