An accident which occurred on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has claimed the lives of four passengers with 14 others injured.
It was gathered that the accident which occurred around 3:40pm on Sunday involved a Mazda bus which somersaulted and collided with a truck.
According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the Mazda bus lost control due to overspending and then crashed into a truck. It was gathered that the truck driver fled the scene of the accident.
Florence Okpe, the spokesperson of FRSC in Ogun State said that the injured victims have been taken to Idera Hospital in Sagamu, while the dead bodies have been deposited at the hospital’s morgue.
