4 Killed As Armed Robbers Invade First Bank, Polaris Bank In Ile-Oluji

Tragedy struck on Thursday in the Ile-Oluji area of Ondo state as armed robbers raided First Bank and Polaris Bank, killing four people.

Allnews.ng gathered that two mobile police officers, one policeman, and a bank security guard were killed during the incident.

According to a resident of Temidire Street, who spoke with allnews.ng, the mobile policemen were chased down and killed.

The witness, who craved anonymity, said that the mobile policemen were not on duty but were in town to escort a body for burial rites.

Police spokesperson, Femi Joseph is yet to confirm the number of casualties. He said policemen have been deployed to the scene of the incident.
