A bus carrying tourists crashed and caught fire in Bulgaria on Tuesday, killing at least 45 people.
Photos taken from the crash showed the vehicle engulfed in fires as the bus crashed on the highway.
Twelve children were among the dead, while seven survivors have been hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries.
Boyko Rashko, the Interior Minister of the European country said in his remarks at the crash site that he had never seen anything as horrifying as the accident in his life.
"The people who were involved in the bus crash were burnt so bad that they had turned to charcoal," Rashko said.
Also, among the dead were a mother and her four children as well as her sister and her two children.
