Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw is giving us body goals today as she celebrates her 50th birthday.
She shared stunning photos of herself on her Instagram page, thanking God for taking her this far.
"Never would have made it this far without the King of Kings... The laughter and joy in my life testifies of His goodness and mercy over me... I am highly favoured!! This I know," she wrote in one of the captions.
The actress also celebrated others sharing the same birthday with her, including Ibidun Ighodalo, the former beauty queen, who passed away last year.
Her colleagues in the entertainment industry including Dakore Egbuson, Rita Dominic, Empress Njamah, and Uche Jombo, all took to their various social media accounts to celebrate the fitness enthusiast.
The actress also did not fail to flaunt her hot step.
In 1993, Kate Henshaw auditioned for the lead role in the movie ‘When the Sun Sets’ which she got. Although the movie was not that much a success, it marked the beginning of her acting career. Since then, she has remained prominent in the movie industry and has featured in over 200 Nollywood movies.
The actress also took interest in politics in 2015 when she decided to represent Calabar Municipal/Odukpani Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). After losing at the primary level, she got appointed as the Special Adviser, Liaison, Lagos by Cross River State’s Governor, Benedict Ayade.
Kate was married to Roderick James Nuttal, and their union was blessed with a daughter ‘Gabrielle Nuttal’. However, they were married for 12 years before they broke up. Kate refused to share the reason for their divorce but there were rumors that Roderick constantly cheated on his wife. The couple only stated that irreconcilable differences led to the divorce.
