9 Killed, 2 Injured In Separate Bandit Attacks In Kaduna

The Kaduna State Government reported that at least 9 people were killed and 2 others injured in separate attacks that happened in the areas of Zaria, Chikun, and Zangon Kataf local government.

Aryan Samuel, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs revealed this on Friday.

He continued that three people were killed when bandits mounted the Buruku-Udawa section of the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road in Chikun LGA.

He added that bandits also killed two people in Sako village of the Zangon Kataf local government area. Also, in Zaria Local government, one Alhaji Habibu was shot to death by bandits in Saye village.

Samuel ended by saying that the Governor of the state, Nasir El-Rufai expressed his bitterness and sadness at the reports of killings happening in the state, as he prayed and wished the injured speedy recovery.

Kidnappings and killings have become frequent in Kaduna State with some of these killings spearheaded by terror groups.
