9mobile Appoints New Chief Sales Officer

Telecommunications company, 9mobile announced on Friday that Victor Nwaobia has been named as the new Chief Sales Officer.

Nwaobia will join the executive management team of 9mobile as a result of the new position, according to a statement the firm made in Lagos.

He will be in charge of directing the company's sales strategy, activities, and goals throughout the consumer sales channels, enterprise business, and retail environment, according to the statement.

The statement disclosed that 9mobile is extending its capacity and capabilities to provide its customers with cutting-edge end-to-end goods, services, and solutions while also experiencing enormous network expansions.

It was stated that Nwaobia will assist 9mobile in its attempts to develop deep customer relationships and open the next stage of technological solutions for transformation and future growth through his experience and knowledge.

“Nwaobia, a sales and marketing strategist, has rich experience in commercial functions with expertise in telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, gaming, sports betting and general consulting.

“He is passionate about driving business growth and enhancing business operations and revenue through initiating and implementing strategic marketing and sales initiatives,” the telco said.

Commenting on the appointment, 9mobile’s Chief Executive Officer, Juergen Peschel, said: “9mobile is one of the industry’s leading service providers, delivering innovative communication solutions for our customers to fulfil their personal and business objectives.”

Peschel characterised Nwaobia as a strategic sales leader with a track record of creating and inspiring high-performing partner and sales teams.

In order to position the business as a leader in telecoms solution creation, he said that his extensive experience and expertise in sales strategy, new business growth, customer advocacy, and in-depth execution would be crucial.

“Nwaobia has spent a long time in the commercial units of 9mobile, spanning over 10 years before leaving to pursue other businesses.

“We are excited to have him back to deplore his wealth of business experience and legacy knowledge of our business in driving our consumer sales and services teams,” Peschel said.

According to NAN, the new chief sales officer has over 22 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, as well as a master's degree in business administration in marketing.
