Amid the lockdown and as an effort to promote continuity in the country, 9mobile has granted its subscribers free access to health and educational websites, including the National Open University.
The telecom company listed out the site it granted free access to; Schoolgate, Mobile Classroom (in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Education) National Open University, Khan Academy, Seesaw, Mobihealth, World Health Organisation, Nigeria Health Watch, HealthLine and Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, among others.
9mobile added that the development was to promote continuity and make sure Nigerians have access to basic service at any point the requires it.
Speaking on this contribution, the Executive Director, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs at 9mobile, Abdulrahman Ado, explained that health and education were two out of the three pillars of 9mobile’s Corporate Social Responsibility programmes.
