‘A Win For You Is A Win For All’ — Yemi Alade Responds To Tems

Singer Yemi Alade has responded to Tems’ tweet of appreciation to Tiwa Savage, Asa, Simi and other key female artistes from the older generation.

Shortly after Tems won at the 2022 BET Awards, she shared a tweet, appreciating her female colleague — Asa, Omawumi, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Waje, Simi, Niniola, Ayra Starr, Teni, Fave and her Ghanian counterpart Amaarae and Gyakie — for getting up and doing something, inspiring others in the process.

Responding, Yemi Alade congratulated her, saying that a win for her is a win for all.

“Congratulations Queen, thank you for being you.

"A win for you is a win for all. Let’s keep winning,” Alade responded.

Tems won two awards at the BET — one as the Best International Act and the other for collaborating on Wizkid's ‘Essence’ remix featuring her and Justin Bieber.
