Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, has reportedly tested positive to coronavirus.
According to sources, Kyari tested positive for the virus on Monday.
Abba Kyari Kyari had travelled to Germany on Saturday, March 7th to meet with officials of Siemens in Munich on the Nigerian electricity expansion programme.
ThisDay reports that Kyari had tested positive for the virus, which necessitated a test being carried out on President Muhammadu Buhari, which came out negative.
However, the presidency is yet to confirm or deny the news as at the time of filing this report.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) late Monday night confirmed four new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) to bring to total cases in Nigeria to 40.
According to a tweet by the verified official handle of NCDC, three are in Lagos State and one in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
