Abba Moro Condoles With Benue Community Over Death Of 20 In Unprovoked Attack

The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, has condoled with residents of the Okpobila community of Apa Ward, in the Ado LGA of Benue State.

Okpobila community was attacked on Tuesday morning and over 20 people were murdered in the most bestial manner.

Moro condemned the unprovoked attack in the community which left several persons dead and properties worth millions of naira destroyed.

Senator Moro decried the incessant attacks on the community, wondering what the unrepentant aggressors stood to gain from mindlessly attacking and killing innocent people in the community all the time.

He charged security agents to go after the perpetrators of the heinous crime and bring them to book.

He appealed to the people to remain calm and corporate with the security agents to deal with the situation, and not embarking on reprisals, Emmanuel Eche-Ofun John, SA (New Media) to the Senator said in a statement.
