Abiola Ajimobi: Nigerians React To Ex-Oyo Governor's Death

   

Nigerians have taken to social media to share their varying reactions to the death of former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, AllNews reports.

AllNews gathered that Ajimobi had been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of First Cardiology Consultants Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos, since he was rushed to the medical centre recently after it emerged he had contracted the dreaded Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Strong rumours of Ajimobi's death filtered in last week when 'Fisayo Soyombo, a well-known Nigerian journalist posted on his social media handles that a 'credible' source informed him Ajimobi is late.

Recall AllNews reported last Thursday that family sources debunked rumours of the death of the 70-year-old.

However, news of his demise has been confirmed and verified by AllNews.

The likes of social media personalities, Kemi Olunloyo and Dele Momodu who debunked the colossal politician's death speculation last week, however, confirmed his exit this afternoon.
