Absence of Lawyer Stalled Criminal Trial Of Prince Adedipe E

The trial of Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, CEO of Adedas and company global services limited was stalled on Monday the 9th of November 2020 when his lawyer failed to show up in court.

AllNews understands that Prince Ewenla has been standing trial since 2014 over the attack on Otunba Kehinde Adeosun over the disputed Awori community, a suburb in Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria as a result of the landlord's and landlady's refusal to pay the sum of N5m demanded by the family of Carina that won the case of ownership of the community.

When the matter came up on Monday, Prince Ewenla told the court that his Lawyer was unavoidably absent and Justice Oshodi adjourned the case to February 15th, 2021 for the commencement of the trial.
