An explosion that happened in Abu Dhabi, the UAE has today, Monday hit three fuel tankers.
The incident that happened near the city's international airport was claimed to might have resulted from a drone attack launched by Yemen's Houthis.
The explosion resulted in the death of three people and wounded six others.
The Abu Dhabi police said the dead included two Indian nationals and one Pakistani. The Police added that an investigation was underway.
The officers also added that preliminary investigations indicated the detection of small drones may have caused the explosion and fire.
The incident comes as Yemen’s continued war rages on and as an Emirati-flagged vessel was recently captured by the Houthis.
The UAE has been at war in Yemen since early 2015 and was part of the Saudi-led coalition that launched attacks against the Houthis after the group ousted the government from power.
The Houthis have come under pressure in recent weeks and are suffering heavy losses as backed UAE forces, have pushed back the rebels in key southern and central provinces of the country.
