ABU Student Rescued From Boko Haram Insurgents After Over A

A student of Ahmadu Bello University identified as Becky Inuwa has been rescued from Boko Haram insurgents after a year and six months of being in captivity.

Godwin Tanko who made the announcement on Instagram said Inuwa, who was his coursemate, was rescued by men of the Nigerian Army.

Tanko posted a picture of Inuwa with the caption; "Today I'm celebrating life, I've shed tears of joy for this news, this is my coursemate in ABU, Becky Inuwa who was abducted by Boko Haram terrorists for over 1½ years but has been rescued by our great Nigerian Army".
