Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack: Released Victim Says Terrorists S

One of the recently released victims of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack has shared his ordeal, stating that the federal government should take their captors seriously.

Professor Mustapha Umar Imam spoke on Wednesday via a video broadcast on Arise TV, disclosing that the terrorists took their time in planning the attack which took place on March 28, 2022.

He revealed that they talked about classified information concerning the country and hinted that they have infiltrators working for them in different parts of Nigeria.

According to Umar, the victims were given allowances of N10,000 two weeks ago by their captors, explaining that it was for supplies while they were in captivity, which would be purchased by one of the abductors from the city.

“They gave us N10,000 each for us to get things like soft drinks and milk, beverages, bread, and other supplies. This happened in the last two weeks.

"In terms of how organized they are, I advise the government to take them very seriously because these people are highly organised", Umar said.

Speaking on attacks that the terrorists intend to carry out, the scholar further revealed that he heard them discuss their plans and how they intend to carry them out.

"The terrorists spoke about serious attacks they were going to carry out, and when I came out, I heard they were involved in Kuje prison jailbreak and a few other attacks across the country”, he added.
