Accident: Three Lives Lost In Ogun Multiple Crash

Three persons have been confirmed dead in a multiple accident which occurred along Quarry Road in Agbeloba, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The accident according to Ogun TRACE took on Tuesday afternoon.

Eyewitnesses revealed that it involved a green Ford car with registration number LND 543 FB.

The vehicle which was on high speed hit some cars before getting to the roundabout.

They also disclosed that the vehicle rammed across the bar at the junction before killing the victims.

"Seven persons were involved in the accident; five males and two females out of which three persons died on the spot while others were taken to Alpha Hospital", a source disclosed.

It was gathered that at the hospital, they were rejected before they were admitted to Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba.

The victims were assisted to hospital by good Samaritans when they discovered that the driver had taken to his heels and was nowhere to be found.

Meanwhile, personnel of the Ogun State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ibara Division, TRACE Ogun State and the Nigerian Police were on ground to control the situation.

It was gathered that angry onlookers attempted to destroy the car but officers were able to arrest the situation and there was free flow of vehicular movement.
