Accident Victim Confirmed Dead As Osun Government Constructs

AllNews Nigeria has confirmed that one of the three children that was involved in the road accident early Monday morning in Kajola town along the Osogbo-Ilesa road is dead.

It was also confirmed that the two other victims of the accident are in stable condition and are responding to treatment.

According to a message made available by the Osun State Commissioner for Works, Oluremi Omowaiye, the two surviving children are stable and had undergone an MRI Scan.

The message added that the state governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has taken over the payment of the medic bill of the duo.

Also, the Osun State Government has facilitated the construction of speed breakers on the Kajola axis of the Osogbo-Ilesa road.

The construction of the speed breakers was part of the demands put forward by the town's people and youths who protested and blocked the Osogbo-Ilesa road after an accident occured in the town on Monday October 11, 2021.

The construction of the speed breakers was supervised by the Osun Commissioner for Works, Oluremi Omowaiye on Tuesday.

Recall that an early morning accident had occured around the Kajola axis of the Osogbo-Ilesa road.

The accident had involved three children of the same parents who were on their way to school early on Monday morning.
