The incident is reported to have occurred at the footballer's home in Boulogne, where the woman claims Hakimi kissed her without consent, lifted her clothes, and touched her inappropriately.
The woman alleges that she was subjected to digital penetration despite her protests before she managed to push the footballer away and escape.
The victim went to the police station in Nogent-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) to make a statement of rape but declined to file a formal complaint.
The police have since opened an investigation into the matter based on the statements made by the complainant.
According to sources, the footballer and the woman first made contact on Instagram on January 16.
The incident occurred on Saturday, February 25, when the woman went to Hakimi's home in Boulogne, and ordered an Uber arranged by the Moroccan.
Achraf Hakimi, who recently celebrated his son's fourth birthday with his wife and partner Hiba Abouk, helped Morocco to reach the semi-finals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The 24-year-old right-back has been impressive for his club since the start of the year.
As of now, Hakimi has not responded to the allegations.
