The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has advised youths to acquire entrepreneurial skills from opportunities provided by modern technology.
Dare gave the advice in a statement issued by the director, Press and Public Relations of the ministry Mohammed Manga, in Abuja.
According to Manga, the minister said this when the Secretary-General, Pan-African Youth Union (PAYU), Ahmed Wiisichong paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
“Nigerian youths need to take advantage of the opportunities provided by modern technology to acquire entrepreneurial skills for self-reliance and employability, in order to take the continent to the expected height,’’ Dare said.
He reiterated the commitment of the Federal Government to youth development in the country.
According to him, Nigeria has a huge number of youths close to 90 million and as such, the government will continue to invest in them.
