Actors Who Have Appeared In Both DC And Marvel Movies

Arguably the biggest and best cinematic universes out there, DC and Marvel fans are always at loggerheads.

The unending war between the followers or lovers of the two worlds sometimes has caused disparities between people.

Friends fight all the time over which cinematic universe is the best. As we know, best is relative.

The constant war between the two worlds however does not extend to professionals who just want to do their job, and that is why this list consists of five actors who have featured in movies from both universes. 

1. Ben Affleck

The California-born actor is one of the many actors who have featured in both DC and Marvel movies.

The actor starred in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' (2016), 'Suicide Squad '(2016) for DC Universe, reprising the role of the dark hooded vigilante, Batman and also appearing in 'Justice League' (2017).

He also previously featured in the Marvel movie 'Daredevil', playing the role of the titular character.

2. Ryan Reynolds

The charming star has featured in one movie from both worlds, with his biggest commercial success coming from the 'Deadpool' franchise under the Marvel universe.

For DC, he took on the role of the titular character in 'Green Lantern' in 2011. He reprised the foul-talking anti-hero in the sequel to Marvel's 'Deadpool' in 2018.

3. James Marsden

Although appearing more prominently in Marvel movies, James Paul Marsden has also featured in movies from both cinematic worlds.

He acted in 'X-Men', 'X2', 'X-Men: The Last Stand', and 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' as Cyclops while getting a debut in DC's 'Superman Returns' as Richard White.

4. Chris Evans

Chris Evans has had remarkable screen time filming in both worlds but he has been more notable for his role in the Marvel universe as Captain America.

He has acted in one DC movie so far, debuting in the role of Jensen in DC's 'Loser' in 2010.

For Marvel, however, he starred in 'Fantastic Four' as the Human Torch and played his more famous role as Captain America in 'Captain America: First Avenger' in 2011 and in subsequent MCU films.

5. Lawrence Fishburne

The actor who shot into the limelight after featuring in the mind-blowing movie; 'The Matrix' has also earned a place for himself at the tables of both worlds.

He played Perry White in DC's 'Man Of Steel' in 2013 and then in 'Superman Vs Batman: Dawn Of Justice' in 2016.

For Marvel, he took on a more vivid role as the Silver Surfer in Marvel's 'Rise of The Silver Surfer' In 2007.
