Actress Bakare Zainab Decribes Last Moment With Gbemi Anjola

Bakare Zainab has described her last interaction with her colleague, Gbemi Anjola.

Gbemi Anjola died on Friday, March 24, 2023, after a long battle with ovarian cancer after being diagnosed with the ailment in 2021.

She had travelled to Dubai, UAE for chemotherapy, which lasted approximately six months.

She returned to Nigeria cancer-free after receiving medical treatment.

The actress complained of memory loss and a headache on March 25, 2023.

Gbemi was rushed to the hospital, but she was later pronounced dead.

Itele and Zainab Balogun, the late actor's colleagues, shared the tragic news on their Instagram pages, where they mourned her.

Bakare took to Instagram to express her grief, recounting her final moments with the actress.

She recalled how they prayed together and how the deceased promised to stay strong for her and even encouraged Bakare to do the same.

Bakare reminded her of their promises, photoshoots, plans, and so on.

The movie star wondered what would happen to the large sum of money sent to her by their male colleague, Ibrahim Yekini, also known as Itele.
