Actress Ini Edo Reveals How Motherhood Changed Her

Nollywood star Ini Edo has shared her motherhood experience, disclosing that it has changed her.

The popular actress made the disclosure in a recent interview with fellow star Lilian Afegbai, noting that being a mother has made her come to the realisation that she can actually love someone more than herself.

"The fact that you can actually love somebody else more than yourself", Edo replied when asked how she has been affected by parenting.

"All of a sudden, somebody else is more important than yourself. I’m somebody who just really loves myself and my space.

"But then, you realise that before you start to think about yourself, you wake up in the morning and you’re not thinking of yourself.

"You’re thinking of your child", she added.

Speaking further, she stated that she was now conscious that she is now responsible for another life.

"There’s a consciousness that comes with the fact that you’re responsible for somebody else’s life,” Edo said.
