The Adamawa State House of Assembly has expressed its appreciation for the unwavering dedication and commitment of its security guard, Zira Kwaji.
During its valedictory session held on Friday, the Speaker, Aminu Iya Abbas, presented Kwaji with the keys to a brand new Toyota Starlet.
During the presentation, he commended Kwaji for his dedication and emphasized the significance of recognizing exemplary service within the Assembly.
He said Kwaji has been a consistent presence at the Assembly complex, ensuring its security and smooth functioning.
He added that as the individual responsible for opening and closing the complex, his punctuality and reliability have not gone unnoticed by the Assembly members and staff.
The speaker further urged others to take inspiration from Kwaji's commitment to duty, hoping that his dedication would serve as a positive example within the institution.
In addition to the car presentation, Hamidu Sajo Lekki, the representative of Yola North constituency, showed his appreciation for Kwaji's hard work by donating a sum of N100,000.
Lekki explained that the contribution was intended to assist the guard in purchasing fuel, further supporting his ability to carry out his duties effectively.
He also encouraged him not to relent in his good work, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a high level of dedication.
Expressing his gratitude, Kwaji appreciated the Speaker, the Assembly members and the assembly's Clerk for the kind gesture.
He expressed his commitment to continuing his diligent service and pledged to uphold his responsibilities with unwavering dedication.
