Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state has commissioned the newly built sixty-bed capacity cottage hospital in Gombi Local Government Area of the state.
The Governor also commissioned the 3.2 km Old-bypass road in the LGA.
The road was awarded in 2016 by the administration of the former governor Umaru Jibirilla Bindow before Fintiri took over.
The projects were commissioned on Thursday.
During the commissioning ceremony, Fintiri said the hospital will provide referral services to the people of the area.
The Governor said the administration will continue to give health the priority it deserves for the benefit of the citizens.
In their separate remarks, the Commissioner of Health, Professor Abdullahi Isa and Commissioner of Works, Adamu Atiku Abubakar called on the people of Gombi to elect candidates of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming elections.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Gombi LGA, Abdurrahman Dauda and a Member representing the area in the State Assembly, Japhet Kefas assured Governor Fintiri of block votes of the people of Gombi in the forthcoming guber election.
