The First Lady of Adamawa state, Hajiya Lami Fintiri, has commiserated with the Amna Shelleng, Alhaji Abdullahi Isa Dason II, over his sister's demise.
The First Lady visited the traditional ruler at his palace in Shelleng Local Government Area of the state on Thursday.
Fintiri extended her condolences to Amna Shelleng and the people of the LGA, urging them to emulate the good virtues left behind by the late Hajiya Salamatu Bako.
The First Lady who holds the traditional title of the Gimbiyan Shelleng, was represented by the Senior Special Assistant to governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Special Duties, Hajiya Asabe Shu'aibu.
She also described the deceased as a devoted mother whose death occurred during the holy month of Ramadan, urging the family to find comfort in Allah.
This was made available in a statement on Thursday by Ishaya Bitrus, New Media aide to the First Lady.
According to Bitrus, special prayers were offered for Allah to forgive the deceased's shortcomings and grant her Jannatul Firdaus.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of Shelleng LGA, Abubakar Musa, appreciated Hajiya Fintiri for always identifying with them.
Speaking on behalf of the family, His Royal Highness, Amna Shelleng, thanked the First Lady for the condolence visit and for standing by them at the time of the grief.
The deceased died aged 76, leaving behind her husband and five children.
