Adamawa First Lady Shares Food Items To Malamre Residents

The First Lady of Adamawa State, Hajiya Lami Fintiri, has shared food items to her neighbours in Malamre village in the state.

Hajiya Fintiri stormed the community on Saturday alongside her entourage sharing the food items from door to door.

The First Lady was represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duty, Asabe Shuaibu.

"I can not do everything, but I can do small things with the great love that I have for my people, especially my neighbours," the First Lady said.

This was contained in a statement by Ishaya Bitrus, media aide to the First Lady today.

"If it were politics, I would invite and gather everyone who is a member of the PDP to share the food with, but it is not that way.

"I support the entire population of Adamawa, not just one political party."

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, an elderly woman popularly called Iya Nyako, appreciated the First Lady for supporting them with the food items.

She noted that the food items given to them will go a long way to reduce their families' sufferings, especially with the scarcity of cash.

She prayed to Allah for the success of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in the forthcoming guber election.
