Adamawa: Governor Fintiri Appoints SSG, Head Of Service

The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has appointed Awwal D. Tukur, as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

The new SSG was a former member of the House of Representatives and had served as the Director General of the Adamawa Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaign Council of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections. 

The governor also approved the appointment of Dr Edgar Amos as his Chief of Staff. 

This was contained in a statement on Wednesday by Humwashi Wonosikou, spokesperson to the governor.

According to Wonosikou, before his recent appointment, Amos was the state's Head of Service.

Meanwhile, following his new appointment, the governor approved Shehu Isa Ardo to take over as the state's Head of Service. 

Wonosikou added that all appointments are with immediate effect.
