Adamawa Police Confirms Arrest of Two With Human Skulls

The Adamawa state police command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects in possession of two human skulls and bones. 

The command also arrested the suspected buyer identified as Dauda Yakubu.

According to the command, Yakubu who is also a commercial motorcycle operator was arrested alongside a woman in connection to the crime. 

The spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Nguroje made this known while parading the suspects.

Nguroje said the two suspects identified as Raji Silver and Nodji Kodji were arrested in Garware village in Fufore local government area of the state.

The spokesperson added that the suspects who hail from Cholli, a community in Cameroon Republic were nabbed on October 11.

He further disclosed that the suspects were arrested by operatives led by CSP Usman Jauroyel.

The suspects had confessed to digging the skulls from a grave in Cameroon Republic and brought it to Nigeria to sell. 

The suspects have been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on the state police commissioner's order, S. K Akande for further investigation.

Nguroje further called on the public to remain vigilant of such people.
