Afropop singer Adekunle Gold has explained the transition process from the Adekunle Gold people knew into AG Baby.
Speaking with media personality Adesope on the Afrobeats Podcast, he said that he does not do anything to please people.
“I don't do anything for people. Honestly, I need people to know that I genuinely don't do anything for people.
“My satisfaction. I have to like it. If I don't like it, I'm not doing it. That's it,” he said.
According to him, he looked at himself one day in the mirror and realised styling his hair was too much work so he decided to keep it rough.
Adekunle Gold added that he got tired of print (Adire) at a point and decided to give it a rest when he realized he looked good in a white t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans.
